On Monday's show, Ellen played the theme song we sent her. We will have the video clip soon, but here's a play by play description from our friend who saw it, Shana....

Hey little miss DIVA Extraordinaire!
I'm sitting here at the computer .. mindin' my own business .. listening to The Ellen Show in the background on the tv ... cause "Paul McCartney" was on gonna be on .. and I wanted to hear a few of his new songs off his new CD, and he also wrote a new book ..
ROFL >>> See the similarities here? ROFLMAO!
Anyhow .. there's this little interlude .. and Ellen pops up and says .. "Okay folks .. ya know we're asking folks to send us in theme songs for our show right .. well here's a few I want ya all to hear .. Toni, start the first one .. "
Okay .. it's bad .. I don't like .. and you can tell Ellen doesn't ... cause she kind refers to it as like .. oh something like "Air Supply meets so and so" and it's a laugh .. and you can tell .. it's on the "Nahhhh list"
Then Ellen says .. "Our next theme song comes from Jill and Rich Switzer from West Palm Beach, FL .. AND I JUMPED OUTTA MY COMPUTER CHAIR .. RAN TO THE TV AND I WAS GLUED TO IT! Toni starts the SONG at Ellen's request .. and on comes this wonderful throaty voice and it is so cool! You can see ELLEN IS LIKIN' IT .. cause she's a movin' and a groovin to it and she pics up her tambourine and starts playing it from her chair, and then she gets up and dances on up to the gal working the sound board near the audience .. then Ellen lays her hand on the gals forehead and pushes her back (this is as Jill is singing the chorus to her song she made) .. and then Ellen comes back to her chair .. and sits down as they turn off the tune .. and she says "Man that gospel soundin music really gets ya going don't it?!" .. The sound engineer said that Ellen cured her headache .. LOL (must have been from that first song .. LOL).
Then Ellen does some bit about .. looking for your name and town on the screen .. and if ya see it .. call in and we fly ya somewhere .. (maybe the studio or something . I didn't catch that part .. as I was too busy calling Debbie! LOL) .. then .. as the credits are scrolling .. GUESS WHO'S SONG IS PLAYING IN THE BACKGROUND???
Jill & Rich's theme song for Ellen!
Ellen picked up her tambourine and got into it again .. !!
